Workforce development organizations offer a variety of services to help individuals succeed in their careers. These services can include job training programs, career counseling, and educational opportunities. Many workforce development organizations also partner with local businesses to provide job placements and internships.

ELECT is dedicated to creating and supporting partnerships among schools, families, and community. Southwest Community Development Corporation (SCDC) help protect and educate children whose parents cannot afford a babysitter by providing an enriching after school program. SCDC provide support and share resources with neighborhood businesses. They also help those who are able and want to work break down the barriers and find a job.
Unions
Unions are organizations that represent the collective interests of workers. At PHL, unions may be a resource for employees by negotiating for better wages, benefits, and working conditions on behalf of their members. They may also provide support and representation for employees in grievances or disputes with management. Unions can be a useful way for employees to come together and advocate for their rights in the workplace.

Association of Flight Attendants
The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) is the flight attendant union organized by flight attendants for flight attendants. AFA represents nearly 50,000 flight attendants at 19 airlines, serving as a voice for flight attendants at their workplace, in the industry, in the media and on Capitol Hill.
Association of Professional Flight Attendants
The Association of Professional Flight Attendants is the certified collective bargaining representative for the American Airlines Flight Attendants. It is through the APFA that we are able to negotiate fair contracts, promote our interests in Washington, D.C., guarantee our rights, and settle disputes with the Company judiciously.

Employee Assistance Program – Penn Behavioral Health
Penn Medicine EAP will continue to offer a full suite of wellness services with the ultimate goal of helping organizations create and retain a fully engaged and productive workforce. Some of the services include Critical Incident Trauma Response, EAP Orientations, Health Benefit Fairs, Management Consultations, Counseling, Workshops, Consultations with Attorneys and Financial Professionals and access to a robust work / life app.
